About Us
Love School Center is a community driven initiative incepte in 2000 and registered in 2003 by the current director Miss. Veronicah Mutuku, a teacher by profession. Motivated by the state in which vulnerable children lived and the rising number of children in the streets, she wanted to put measures in order to protect these children from the harsh street life.
The school started with seven needy children and four orphans. Today the school is boasting of fully fledged classes and a pupil population of over 380 boys and girls. It now boasts of two branches, one in Gatina, Kwangware and another one in Athi River, Machakos.

Love School Center in Gatina, Kawangware is a basic school child center and is on rental space. There is an urgent need to salvage the school to run normally.
The school was brought down by fire in 2021 during night hours consuming everything and nothing was salvaged. We started from scratch and the effects of the fire are still being felt to date. We are trying our best to put up temporary structures but some pupils are still forced to learn in open spaces. We are in need of 15 classrooms to cater for the needs of our children.
